Terms and Privacy

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms apply from the moment you buy, download or install Spacealyx. If you do not accept them, do not install it.

2. What the licence gives you

• You are buying a licence to use the software — not the software itself, and not its source code.
• One licence runs Spacealyx on one computer at a time. Activating a machine takes the licence seat; reactivating that same machine, after a reinstall for instance, does not take a second one.
• Moving to another computer is self-service and unlimited: release the seat on the old machine from Settings, then activate the new one.
• Spacealyx works offline. It renews its signed licence in the background whenever it has a connection, and keeps running for weeks between those check-ins.
• The AI model runs on your own computer. There is no per-prompt fee, no token budget and no usage meter.
• The licence is personal and non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Your licence key

Your key is a credential. Keep it as private as a password: anyone holding it can install the product against your licence.

We store only a hash of your key, never the key itself, so we cannot read it back to you if you lose it. Keep your purchase email.

A key can be revoked if the payment behind it is reversed or charged back, or if it is used in a way clause 4 forbids. Every revocation is recorded with a reason, and we will tell you which one applies.

4. What you may not do

• Share, resell, sublicense, rent or publish your licence key.
• Redistribute the installer, the AI model or the bundled knowledge base, whole or in part. Your copy carries an identifier tied to your licence.
• Work around the licence check, or run a modified build.
• Reverse-engineer the product, except where the law of your country grants you that right and does not allow us to take it away.

5. Updates and support

7. What you need to run it

• Windows 10 or 11, and Autodesk Revit 2027.
• Your own valid Autodesk Revit licence. It is not included in this price and we do not sell it.
• Spacealyx is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Autodesk. Autodesk and Revit are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.

8. Warranty and liability

In plain language, pending that review: Spacealyx assists you, it does not certify your model. You stay responsible for checking the drawings, the quantities and the code compliance it produces, exactly as you would check the work of a colleague.

9. Ending the licence

You may stop using Spacealyx whenever you like. We may end a licence that breaches this agreement, and if we do we will say which clause and why.

When a licence ends you must stop using the product and uninstall it. The files you created with it are yours and stay yours.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase already made.

11. Governing law

1. The three identifiers we hold

• A hash of your licence key (SHA-256). It identifies the licence without our ever holding the key, and it cannot be turned back into it.
• A hash of a device fingerprint, computed on your own computer. It only tells the same machine again apart from a different machine, which is what keeps a reinstall from costing you a seat. It is not a hardware serial number, and not the name of your computer.
• A country code: two letters, ISO-3166 alpha-2, such as PE, ES or US. Our host derives it from the connection; we keep the two letters and nothing else.

2. What we never store

• IP addresses. Not in the licence ledger, not in the download log, nowhere. Like any website, your connection has to reach a hosting provider that sees an address in order to answer it — but no address is ever written into our database.
• Raw licence keys. Only hashes, everywhere, including the audit trail.
• Anything from your work: no models, drawings, families, schedules, prompts or chat history. The AI runs on your computer, and none of that is sent anywhere.
• Your name, your email address or your payment details. Those stay with the store that took the payment.
• Cookies and third-party analytics on this website: there are none, and there are no external fonts or trackers either. The only thing this site keeps in your browser is your language choice, stored locally under the name slx_lang.

3. When your computer talks to our server

Spacealyx contacts the licence server on four occasions, and on no others.

• Activation: your key and the fingerprint hash go out, a signed licence for that machine comes back. The key is hashed the moment it arrives.
• Renewal: the same exchange, in the background, so the signed licence never expires while you are working.
• Release: your machine hands its seat back, so another computer can take it.
• Downloading the installer: the request itself and, when downloads are gated, proof that you hold a live key.
• Using the AI sends nothing at all. There is no request to make: the model is on your own disk.

4. The records we keep, field by field

• Licence: the key hash, the plan, how many machines it allows, its status, the order and customer identifiers the store gives us, and when it was created or last changed.
• Seat: the fingerprint hash, when it was first and last seen, the country code last seen, and whether it is active or released.
• Licence events: one row per activation, renewal, release, refusal or revocation, with the outcome and the reason. This trail is append-only — it cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us.
• Download events: one row per download attempt, with the time, the licence key hash when a key was used, the country code, the version served, and whether it succeeded.
• A watermark identifier tied to your licence and embedded in your copy of the product, so a copy that leaks can be traced back to the licence it came from.

5. Why we keep it

To know that a licence is genuine, to keep one licence from quietly becoming twenty, to keep our own hosting inside a free tier that abuse would otherwise burn through, and to be able to answer you when something goes wrong.

None of it bans anyone automatically. Unusual activity ranks a list that a human reads, because a wrong ban on a studio that is working costs far more than a copied key.

6. How long we keep it

• Licence and seat records: for as long as the licence exists.
• Licence events: kept as the record of what was sold and activated, which is the question asked years later when someone needs to establish that a licence was genuine.
• Download events: kept for at least 180 days, and may be pruned after that.

7. Who else is involved

• Hosting: Cloudflare runs this website, the licence server, the database and the installer storage. [[ DATA-RESIDENCY WORDING THE SELLER IS WILLING TO COMMIT TO ]]

• Nobody else. No advertising networks, no analytics vendors, no data brokers — and none of this is ever sold or shared.

8. Your rights

In practice: present your licence key, and we can tell you exactly which rows relate to it, correct them, revoke the licence, or release its seats.

One honest limit: the licence event trail is append-only by design and cannot be rewritten. It holds no names, no addresses and no IP addresses — hashes, country codes and timestamps only — which is precisely what makes keeping it defensible.

9. Changes to this notice

If what we store changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not start collecting something new and quietly leave this text as it was.
